Visited KidZania twice in a week and spent almost the entire day there each time, with my daughter obviously having a blast. Both times were on weekdays and was not too busy so lineups were short. If you have not been to a KidZania before, it's definitely a must-do with kids, as the staff encourages them to step out of their comfort zone to try things they may not usually do while also making sure us parents are simply spectators. Of note, would recommend minimum age of 4yrs to ensure they can participate in most activities, but even then there are a few that will require kids a few years older.

Brilliant entertainment for our four grandchildren aged 8-13. Even the 13 year old enjoyed it and they were there for over 5 hours.
Apparently miles better than the London one.

We went on a public holiday and it was surprisingly uncrowded. We walked right up to almost all the jobs, including pilot and firefighter - and never had to queue, That itself made the experience an excellent one! Food was limited and expensive, but that was to be expected i suppose. Website information could be clearer on the opening hours. We checked and expected 10am - 5pm on weekdays, but it turned out to be 1030am - 830pm on public holiday so we needn't have rushed.

Regarding the operating hours on the website, The admission price and opening hours between weekdays and weekends are separate and may look confusing. We will look into this to assure the information is clear. Thank you again for visiting us and looking forward to welcoming you back soon. Kind regards, Anongnard Permchalad Customer Service Manager

We visited 4 times within a 3 week period and my children had a good time. We also checked out other kid activities in central Bangkok but they’re in short supply. Thus, to entertain 4 kids ages 2.5, 5, 8, 9, I ended up here a lot. If I could choose, I wouldn’t have brought my 2.5 year old - there isn’t that much for toddlers.

Here’s what we loved:
1. The concept and idea of a nearly kid run experience without parental interference.
2. A variety of activities
3. No lines when we went - weekdays and once on a Sunday afternoon.

Didn’t love:
1. The price - holy heck it’s expensive to go here! Weekends are much more expensive, too.
2. The price for adult entry! Seriously, why the heck are you charging so much for adults? We’re not allowed to do anything in there besides use the toilet, sit on benches and observe our kids. What exactly are we paying for?!
3. The price for toddlers 2-4 years old. Again, there’s so many activities they can’t do and it just doesn’t seem right to charge that much for them.
4. The staff taking pictures. I had to ask them to please stop so that my kids could enjoy the activity they were there for instead of posing 40 million ways for the photographer. I totally understand the candid pictures that captures the moments but stop with all the hassling.

We even paid the Thai price bc we have dual citizenship and I couldn’t possibly imagine paying the foreigner’s rate to go here!

My family is a big fan of Kidzania, and decided to travel to Bangkok to experience the concept on a different country. However, the kidzania citizen passport is not accepted in Bangkok, contrary to its claims that it is accepted worldwide when we first applied for it. It’s a big letdown for the little one as he has been looking forward to collect the stamps.

Other than that, the number of activities and jobs in BKK Kidzania did not disappoint. The place is can better lid though!

Dear ronan233, Thank you for your review of your recent visit to KidZania Bangkok. KidZania provides ultimate learn and play experience for kids through a role-playing activity. The kid has independent of learning and playing what they interested in. With realistic and fun simulations, kids love to try or repeat our various activities as much as they can. This is the reason why we are the top destination kids prefer to visit at this moment. Regarding the Passport program, we are sorry that this program does not operate when we first operating. Also, we found that it does not match the local market trend so it may not operate in the nearest future. for more information about the KidZania facility provided the pazzport program please visit the website b.Kidzanian. Thank you again for sharing your point of view and hope that we will have a chance to welcome you back again soon. Kind regards, Anongnard Permchalad Customer Service Manager

Our second visit to the Kidzania Bangkok. A great way for the kids to learn and earn money( kidzos) at the same time while having fun. My two boys had a blast from trying out different occupations for a full 9 hours. Thankfully the place was not crowded and most activities don't require long waiting time.

Dear mic_leow, Thank you very much for your review of KidZania Bangkok. I am glad to know you have wonderful time with us. As you mention, KidZania is the place for the kid to learn about a real-life experience. From working in various occupations to earn some money and spending wisely at the preference service. With activity more than 50, the kid enjoy random working as long as they can. Especially during the low season which has less queue, kids are more enjoyable. Thank you again for your re-visit and looking forward to welcoming you back soon. Kind regards, Anongnard Permchalad Customer Service Manager

We were lucky that it was not crowded when we visited. It was our first time going to Kidzania and I think it’s a great concept. Only that some of the shops/jobs were closed. Most staff were friendly except for a few. Otherwise great place for a whole day of fun for kids.

Visited with my daughter last week on her Birthday. Her third and I dare say, final visit. The ordeal began when I forgot her Thai I.D card/passport so she paid "foreign price".

Things inside seem to have changed for the worse since our last visit last year. The staff seemed more concerned with making extra money through selling tat. In the Vet job activity the staff seemed more interested in taking photos of the children to sell at an extortionate price later. For what it is worth my daughter did enjoy the day but the fun for me followed the next day.

The following day I came back with my Thai wife and attempted to get a refund for the difference between Thai and Foreigner, some 320 baht I believe. I brought her Thai passport. The manager I spoke to was adamant she was not authorised to do this. Had I not been with my child I would have stood there until someone who was authorised paid up but we had other things to do. Instead she gave one free entry for next time.

In some ways it is a shame we have anti - discrimination laws in the UK, otherwise I would propose that Thai tourists be charged double what locals pay here to go say, Madame Tussauds or the London Eye and they too can experience the stupidity of discrimination.

I asked the manager if she would ask for I.D from someone who looked "Thai" on the day, not pre-booked, and she wouldn't answer. My daughter doesn't "look" Thai and thus must be challenged for her "Thainess".This is the sort of casual racism that people experience everyday in Thailand.

Dear AjarnBulldog, Thank you for taking the time to post your review on TripAdvisor concerning your recent visit with us. We appreciate your feedback about the price differential but want to assure you that the intention was not to be discriminatory but to recognize the Thai people. For the expat, the foreigner can provide their work permit or evidence of living in Thailand to enjoy the local promotion. We are sorry that it was not acknowledged upon your visit. Unfortunately, KidZania ticket used is non-refundable. So we provided a complimentary voucher for next visit as a gesture of goodwill. We will train staff to always ask visitor about the residence to ensure it will not happen again in the future. Thank you once again for visiting KidZania Bangkok. It’s our policy to ensure your complete satisfaction with every visit. We look forward to seeing you again. Kind regards, Anongnard Permchalad Entry & Exit counter and Custome Service Manager

Ok we forgot to take our granddaughters passport (duel Thai/UK National)so had to pay "Farang" price. No one in a school party were checked so we felt discriminated. As in the past the more popular activities were busy. Some staff appeared bored while some looked more interested. Not worth the money
