Yes it's quick and somewhat easy when you find the pier, but the Saen Saep canal is an open sewer. It smells and the water splashes on you. You need to consider your health and take other transport to the Grand Palace. A better method...More

Great way to get around Bangkok. They start very early and finish around 20.30, a little earlier finish at weekend. Boats are every few minutes. It is insanely busy at peak hours. Very cheap e.g. from Pratanum pier (this is the pier where you have...More

This is a very interesting trip to see a whole new universe of life along the side of the Klong. Exploring Bangkok from the 'inside' by boat can be a lot of fun. Large boats serve as transport to office goers, smartly turned out, more...More

We caught the boat after our tour of the Jim Thompson House. Quick ride. Literally hop on and hop off. Son was so happy with this. Have to be a little cautious when getting on/off. The ticketing guy comes around on the side of the...More

It's quite fast and convenient. I took it from Jim Thompson's House to Pratunam. You need to get on and get off the boat quickly so that it would be kind of dangerous especially to the girls who wear high heels. Get on the boat...More
