I am from the UK and visit Kho Phangan every year. I always spend a few days in a different part of Thailand first and, this year, decided to visit Bangkok. When visiting cities, I like to do as much sight seeing as possible and prepare my own itinerary combined with tours at each attraction if they are available. Once... More

I have been to Bangkok over 20 times. But I wanted to take 4 of my relatives all in their 80s. We did 2 full day tours, which we enjoyed so much that we ended up booking a 3rd tour. Although I have seen most of the sights before, the insight of the guide made it very enjoyable even for... More

We booked 2 tours via email with Mr Chob. The tours were well run and very good value for money. Both tour guides picked up our group of 6 from our Bangkok hotel. One day we did the Royal Palace and Temples, plus an amazing long tail boat ride in the canals around the city. The next day we had... More

We did two days with Thai Tour. Our tour was not what was stated. They need to be clear when they are going to take you for half a day of shopping. I do not need a tour guide to go shopping. We were rushed through the sites we did visit. The second day our guide didn't think we would... More

Ms. Thim Thim was our guide for two days in Bangkok. We were picked up at the port in an air-conditioned mini-bus and were offered cold water and cold towels throughout our tour. We visited the Grand Palace, Reclining Buddha, Temple of the Jade Buddha, took a long-tail boat ride through the canals and had a lovely lunch. On our... More

We had a really nice full day tour of Bangkok and managed to squeeze in all the main attractions. Booking the tour was very easy and the team was very responsive and helpful. Our tour guide and the driver were also very good. They went at our pace and were very professional and willing to explain things. There are obviously... More

We had a really awesome private full day tour to the River Kwai and the DEATH railway. Our guide, Ms. Aom, was awesome and her organization couldn´t have been more perfect. We were picked up on time, visited the museum and the cemetery before going to the bridge. Then we took a 40min train-ride on the DEATH railway. Ms Aom... More

Their team helped me for two full days - one in Bangkok, and one surrounding the outlying areas. Super service, friendly, fun, knowledgable. Highly recommended. You'll see all of the key highlights. On the 2nd day, the outside Bangkok had a tour of a floating market. Really interesting. Try to make time for that. Hit "helpful" if appropriate.

Staying in Sathorn

Neighbourhood Profile
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
