What a horrible display of cruelty

Like so many other reviews, we say "please don't go here". Do not take your children. We could not reconcile how men could treat animals to such abject cruelty. There is no... read more

We didn't even realise we were booked for a snake show as part of a whole day package tour until we found ourselves here. Definitely an interesting experience though none of us would have sought this place out if we had a choice. Seemed quite crude and primitive for our taste.

Amazing experience and totally worth for the snake lovers...The show was amazing and breath taking...those are daredevils who play with highly venomous snakes...hats of to them, also u get to touch the king cobra and also the big python around your neck, scary but friendly, you have to conquer your fear. All and all a worth experience in just 600... More

Like so many other reviews, we say "please don't go here". Do not take your children. We could not reconcile how men could treat animals to such abject cruelty. There is no doubt that the handlers are very skilled, but that does not explain the hourly horror and torment that these animals are subject to. Surely, with a bit of... More

I don't recommend this place at all. The show was very impressive but not in a good way. They teat the animals very very bad. I don't like snakes and first I was scared because you are really close and there is just 0,5 m high wall separating you from the snakes and some of them are huge. But then... More

I gather there is another snake farm which is much better. This one is absolutely awful. The hotel really should have warned us. It was included on our boat trip (which was really worth doing), so I would encourage people to do that, but do not visit the snake farm. There is very little there. It is dirty and it... More

Do not support by going, do not think you are being a brave and adventurous traveller by going on that canal trip. The fish at the fish farm look almost carnivorous and that, in the dirty canal water is fascinating but the snake farm as a destination is appalling. begging if you go, make a stand for the animals and... DO NOT VISIT You pay to get in, they keep asking for tips and the animals are in an awful state. The cages are far too small and they have little food and water. I wish we hadn't chosen to go and our hotel should never have suggested it as part of the trip to the canals.

Went to this place today and regret it. 150 baht per person to see two black bears, four monkeys, two crocodiles and some chickens caged in the most awful conditions you could imagine. The snake show lasted 10 minutes with a cobra, a viper and a python being prodded and poked and then stuck back in a box. The handler... More

It all started with cost - we paid to get in, asked for more money after a snake was thrust around me, asked for more money for off animal food and for each of the 4 snake handlers. As for the animals, all negative reports are sadly true. The black bears were panting from the heat with minimal water, the... More
