The heart of the city is a mecca of commercialism. Surrounded by huge malls and alleyways of tiny boutiques and markets, Siam is a favorite of Bangkok’s fashion conscious youth.

One of the best places in Bkk, ...like in Europe ...it is a similar with many holiday places that we can find in Europe. You need to see it if you come to Bkk.

It's hard to believe that this extremely congested square didn't see its first buildings until 1970 when it provided rental income for the nearby Chulalongkorn Univ. The major sights at the time were the National Stadium from 1935, the Jim Thompson House & Museum (1959) and Scala, the city's oldest cinema built in 1967. What you see today is simply... More

I've always have enjoyed spending time in Siam Square especially on weekends. It's an active and diverse area full of shops, restaurants, and massage shops. We routinely come here on weekends to one massage shop in particular which we thoroughly enjoy. There are often small festivals and music played on weekends which adds to atmosphere. It's often crowded throughout the... More

Situated in the heart of Bangkok. Could easily get here by BTS siam station or hop on the bus number 15 to the famous Khao-sarn road. The place is normally congested particularly during the weekend since it has been called for the meeting point of most teenagers. I'd suggest any travelers who crave for modern restaurant, cafe and shops.

Easy to get there. Go to BTS- Siam Station. You can find many restaurants around there and many cloths shops. Price is acceptable.

Could be 1-5 stars depending. Multiple malls, that's the reason you are there. We filled out our list. The superlative shopping experience for us is the weekend market.

Huge area of food, restaurants, small affordable clothing stores. It's busy day and night. Tourists and locals. Stumbled on Xugar churros, Nutella filling... yums! Needed the sugar rush to keep walking. The common theme in Bangkok - Walk, shop, eat, walk to burn off calories. Repeat!

This area was a lot of fun. There are many shops, huge varieties of foods and lots of action. Prices here in shops are more than the adjacent MBK centre. Both places are basically connected, walkway over street to access MBK. There is something here for everyone and with any budget. We enjoyed this area after touring all the temples... More
