Ride the MRT to MRT Thailand Cultural Center, take exit 4.  Go up the escalators to the MRT exit.  Go down the MRT Thailand Cultural Center exit/entrance steps.  Go left along Ratchadaphisek Rd.  Big C Extra is about two minutes away. While walking towards Big C Extra, you will see a multitude of stalls. Aside from street food, there were... More

We were staying a short 10 minute walk from the Big C shopping mall, which is structured in 5 levels, with restaurants primarily on the second from top level. It is very easy to get around here, with escalators between the levels, and a clean design throughout. Ablution facilities are top-class, and there is an innovative approach to the design... More

This is the worst ever hotpot ever! Soup base no taste, bad service. I wonder whether I should open a hotpot restaurant beside it. Because those who gave good reviews here obviously didnt eat hotpot before. My hotpot will be better anyhow.

We always go to Big C shopping mall whenever we visit to Bangkok. The reason why is there have variety of goods, fashions, foods with reasonable prices. We like it more than platinum shopping mall and MBK. Must go! :-)

It is walking distance to BTS station (around 5 mins), but worth a visit. We ended up coming back twice to buy snacks and souvenirs. The price here is good, too. However, food court closing time is 9 PM. It is recommended to have dinner first.

Big S for supermarket for all your souvenir needs. Hundreds of snack choices ready for your picking. Small sized shampoo and toothpaste specifically for you to buy to last just your stay in Bangkok. All the freshies that you'd need for a healthy stay too. Big C, big thanks.

The main attraction here is the very big & nice supermarket. We came specially for this. Seems like there is only 1 huge supermarket in downtown Bangkok & it's right here. There are not many shops here & the mall is quite small. However there are some nice dining options. Prices are definitely cheaper here than 7 Eleven stores sprinkled... More

This is the go-to place for cheap local products. Snacks, condiments, everything you could think of. You would see hoards of people filling countless numbers of trolleys worth of items and packing them in cardboard boxes outside of the supermart. It is crowded all the time, so get yourself mentally prepared for crowds. Once you're done shopping, head upstairs to... More
