The BACC is in the centre of Bangkok, next to a BTS station. The entry is for free. Over 7 stories you will have shops, cafés and changing exhibitions. When we visited it last time the top 2 topics were "photos of the early Siam" and a retrospective of the Thai Artist Pratuang Emijaroen.. Both very interesting and impressive. If... More

The BACC is easy to reach via Skytrain and well worth a visit. Its changing exhibitions are usually excellent and there are occasionally live performances also. Architecturally it is also interesting - with a huge corkscrew gallery (like the Guggenheim, perhaps) that is used for occasional exhibitions. There are working artists on one level, and a number of smaller "peoples'... More

The Bangkok Art and Cultural Centre is an architecturally significant building located adjacent to the National Stadium BTS station. Entry was free although you will need to pay for a locker to store your bag if visiting the upper floors (7-9). There are 9 floors with various uses and a number of art related shops. During my visit there was... More

This is a beautiful calm oasis and easy to get to on the BTS. Exhibitions were of a high standard and great to see some contemporary art finally. Loved the shops upstairs, clearly independent stores with each having their own distinct personality. I bought some gorgeous ceramics, and wanted to do a jewellery workshop day but ran out of time.... More

In the BACC,they have many art works such as thai work and international work. There are picture, drawing and painting on 8,9th floor. On the 9th floor, they have a picture of Royal in Thailand. Each picture has their own styles. And has a history of the picture. So BACC is where we can find a unique picture that have only in... More

A spiral walkway winds its way between the 9th and 7th floor, around a circular space which descends all the way to the basement! In this respect it is similar to the NYC Guggenheim. And both show modern art exhibits too. Currently there is an excellent exhibition of photographs celebrating His Majesty the late King's life. There is also an... More

This is a huge site by the National Stadium station. It has some quite interesting little stores inside for jewellery etc, as well as somewhere to buy your graffiti paint! Not a lot else though, and it seem to make poor use of its space.
