This is one of the few museums I know of that will let you take pictures inside, as long as you keep the flash off. I wish the facility was utilized more than it is but I guess you only have so much art that is available.

There is lots to do in this whole area but the free art museum is quite interesting. Whilst there is not much to see there is a room on the top floor with interactive art - this is great. More art museums should be like this.

We were lucky enough to catch the Erwin Wurm show on the top floor. It's a partially interactive show, and a fascinating insight into his process. Additionally, there was a fantastic photography exhibit one floor down as well as the Instagram installation in the atrium spiral. The space is nice, and the exhibits installed well. The BACC is not the... More

We went to the BACC after visiting Siam Paragon, MBK etc. The admission is free however no bags are allowed so you either give your ID or pay a deposit for a locker. The Instagram post exhibit for King Rama IX spans a few floors on the ramp up to the top. At the top were a few more exhibits... More

After reading several TripAdvisor reviews, I decided to visit BACC, and was already composing this review in my mind. I admit to disappointment, because rather than a museum, I found myself in a kind of artists house, featuring a great amount of commercial space of artists and artisans, mixed with several small and (at least on the day I went)... Bangkok Art & Culture Center is a few minutes walk from MBK or Siam Paragon or the BTS National Stadium. It houses current arts and exhibits. There are also cafes and shops in there. It's free to go in. There were several artists offering to draw a likeness of you in charcoal or in color for a fee. I paid... More

actually this was my fourth visit to Bangkok. I love to visit to Bangkok, so at first I had no specific plan to visit somewhere else I just wanted to chill in and just around the hotel just before I found this place! Thanks to the high recommendations of this web site I visited there, though there was no big... More
