I loved this market, so much to see and do, but the real treat is the food. I found it easiest just not ask. all of the vendors are extremely friendly and willing to explain their product. I will admit that there were a few items I didn't like...just not my taste.

This place is good for me with a lot of mouth watering food sold at low price, but there is two points that make me not satisfied . Firstly, this place's food is very unhealthy ,there are a lot of oil and ajinomoto, that could make you very thirsty . SECONDLY,this place is always crowded,it could make you very uncomfortable and difficult to... More

You can find different type of asian foods here, and also small restaurants with seats, gift shops, fun games, everything.

This is my favorite night market and you can see plenty of locals there on a weekend evening. You will be walking shoulder to shoulder with the strangers next to you. But great varieties of food and many highly recommended stalls are here. I'll strongly recommend this if you need to choose between Shilin and Raohe. Take green line to... More

Among the few night markets we went, this is the preferred night market we went besides FengJia night market. It still retained the local Taiwan night market feels with great foods around. Although it is a short street and crowded with people, but there were many variety of snacks to grab along the way which really filled up our tummy.... More

We visited on a Friday evening, it was busy but not as unbearably crowded as Shilin (avoid that place). There's some decent food options, primarily the pork buns at one of the entrances. The shopping may appeal to some but its mostly the same old crap you find anywhere in Asia.

It's not that amazing or great in terms of food taste and varieties. I would say shilin is still the best. Avoid buying the ai yu jelly drink at the entrance of the night market outside of a phone shop. We had that and we all had stomach ache and we also saw someone refund on the spot but thought... Great street food, more variety than we expected. Our family of two adults and two pre teens thought this was a better experience than Shilin. No doubt Shilin offered great food and shopping and is also much bigger, but we thought this night market was less crowded with equally good food options.

It's an experience to visit this night market. It has huge variety of different foods. Mixture of Chinese, local, Japanese and even some variations of European foods. And don't forget all kinds of deserts and sweets. We went there at 5 pm which was a perfect timing as most stalls were already opened while crowds still haven't filled up the... More
