An essential Taipei experience is to go to the night markets. Raohe is easily reached by Metro and the food was great. The famous pepper buns are essential and delicious. An awesome food market and good atmosphere. A mix of locals and some tourists.

Nice place to visit if you have never been here. Some of the food that we bought was nice and there is also a park behind the market where you can sit down and enjoy the scenery

Am not sure why it's the number one shopping place on TripAdvisor. Our hotel was a stone's throw from the Raohe Night Market, nevertheless we only visited it once during our 6 nights in Taipei. Personally, I found it very commercialized, touristy with nothing very substantial to offer. There are loads of street food (but there's street food almost everywhere... More

Raohe has most of the street food you'd want to try. It's smaller and less crowded than Shihlin, easier to navigate.

Visited Raohe night market initially for the pork pepper buns but I ended up trying more of the street foods being offered. The stall selling the bun is just right at the entrance arch. It cost NTD50 and it is a must try. The market is packed with plenty of food stalls, souvenir shops. I had fun just walking around... More

This was a fun place to visit and get a feel and a taste for Taiwan. We ate at a lot of different stops and played games at the arcade. The front had a great photo op also.

We enjoyed our little walk around Raohe Street Night Market. Lots of food to choose from to sample, but we especially enjoyed the pepper buns.

Visited the night market with my family recently. It is conveniently located near the Songshan (松山) MRT station(green line ). Once stepped out of the station, you will notice a beautiful temple and the entrance of night market is just next to it. It was raining and it was less crowded. There was still a queue at the first stall... More
