Travel to the Park is convenient. There are several bus routes which can bring people from different areas in Taipei to the Park. However, the route instructions are not clear inside the Park and the Tourist Centre is far away from the bus station and...More

totally worth the climb. it was a 1.5 hours hike up Qixing mountains and pretty cloudy when I got to the top, but still the view was spectacular. met a bunch of other solo travellers attempting the trail so it was a fun day out....More

In Taipei city the weather was cloudy with about 23°C, but once we arrived at the Yangmingshan bus stop, there was already light rain. It's bearable but very unpleasant if you don't have water proof gear. Worst came to worst and once we arrived at...More

It was too bad but the day i chose to visit yangmingshan was probably the worst because of bad weather and no view. The trails are easy to follow. Just didnt see any of the beauty of this np.

We did not manage to go up the hill due to the overloaded mini bus hit with the car from the opposite side. The road up to Yangmingshan is narrow one lane up and one lane down sharp turn with mountain road. Driver is driving...More

It was confusing as to which stop to alight at the mountain even with Google maps. The visitors centre is shut every Monday except the 1st Monday of the month, which meant that there wasn't really a place to get a map or advice on...More

The trip to the YangMingshan national park is easy. travel up by public transport, bus. The view is nice and relaxing. When I went to the area, it was quite windy.

If no rain, it should be fine. It is very windy even in hot weather. Check weather forecast before you go because as you walk the track there are many trees and may be a bit dangerous as it is slippery too.
