It is bigger than you think.

Its nice to see the Pandabear, the red pandabear and a lot of other animals. The entry price is very cheap.

Beatiful garden and interesting animals. Very clean place and easy to reach. Just save time for panda´s. It´s very busy but worth the wait.

Slightly dated zoo but with a lot of renovation projects. Nice collection of animals. Entrance fee is ridiculously cheap so no reason not to go.

The worst zoo experience I have ever had. Lots of renovation work, construction, empty cages and disorganized directions on map. Lost and frustrated. But the panda enclosure was nice, except that the staff keep chasing people to move along. Expect to spend lots of time and energy to walk a few kilometers to try your luck on sighting animals.

Taipei zoo very average except for those really cute panda's... Every other animal exhibit was really easy to see and watch them as long as you liked. When it came to see the panda's it was so busy and so rushed and the wait took forever...but worth the wait as they where beautiful to see. Heads up...get there early.

My husband and I have been visiting the zoo annually since 2013 around this time of the year, so this was our 4th visit. We look forward to it every year as it's now a family tradition, but we feel that every year, we have less and less to see. While the majority of the animal exhibits are well-maintained and... More

If you have children below the age of 12, you just visit the zoo when in Taipei. But be warned that it is HUGE, so please allocate ample time if you wish to complete the zoo. We took almost 5 hours walking briskly in order to see all the animals. The zoo is largely unsheltered and best to visit when... More

This was my first visit to Taiwan and upon recommendation from TripAdvisor, my sister and I decided to go to the zoo while in Taipei. It was a beautiful zoo and we couldn't believe the very inexpensive price for admission to such a large zoo. We took half a day to do it by walking the whole park and all... More

An easily assessable place by metro and entrance fees are very cheap. There's a few simple eateries inside including MacDonald. You can take shuttle to visit the zoo from one end to the other but there's no stopping in between for you to visit the individual sectors. Covering the park entirely on food is quite tiring. But it's an enjoyable... More
