If you love trekking than you should not miss this one. It's a short trek and could be done in as less as 2 days from Pokhara, Nepal. But if you really want to enjoy your time than 3 or 4 days would be nice....More

We hiked from Snow View lodge in Ghorepani at 0400 am and it took about 45 minutes to reach Poon Hill. It was cloudy so we did not see the great view of the mountains, I would come back again.

Hello Stanley Yes it is possible by car until Naya Pull from Pokhara then after walk start for few days. 7 days in total for this trekking. Krishna

Hello Nepal travel lovers Trekking in Jun and July is but monsoon season and during the rain it comes leeches. Temperature is no problem is warm enough. Thanks.
Do I need to organize a guide from the U.S. for Poon Hill trek or can I do it when I arrive in Pokhara? I will be there in mid May. Thanks for your help!

Most people went with a group, guide & porters. I went solo in Apr-2017. I relied for the teahouses for food & rooms and carried only 30L backpack & walking pole. I met with many amazing people along the way, so it's ok to... More
