Very complete and interesting museum with nice surroundings. A lot of different areas, going from mountaineering, geology, fauna and flora etc. The building in itself is already quite impressive. Definitely worth a visit.

Much more than I thought here. Learned about the many indigenous peoples of Nepal. Also enjoyed the geology displays. Of course the mountaineering displays were fascinating.

The museum is situated some distance away from the main areas and their is an entrance fee. If you are a history buff you will enjoy the experience. Others can give it a miss.
