The National Museum in Patan is a magnificent small concentrated space displaying a number of historically and artistically important and beautiful pieces. And It has a wonderful outdoor restaurant in the center of it.

This museum is a good place to visit with kids. The museum has statues, paintings, murals, coins and weapons. It has three buildings Art Gallery, Buddhist Art Gallery and Historical Museum. Kids will love Historical Museum. Looks little unmanaged though.

Visited with a friend but nothing much is impressive out there. Close to Syambhunath but not in a proper location. It was so unmanaged and only some information there. Can't say National Museum!
