As with most things worth seeing, this one is swarming with people, souvenir hawkers, and touts of all kinds. Not far away is Shechen monestary, an oasis in the city.

If you don't like too much walk, you can go the Baudhanath stupa. It is nice and big stupa with lots of souvenir shop around. Don't forget to meditate inside the monastery, which make you feel good.
