Overview
More
The Garden of Dreams, a neo classical historical garden, is situated in the midst of Kathmandu city, Nepal. The Garden's design has much in common with formal European gardens: paved perimeter paths, punctuated by pavilions, trellises, and various planting areas, surrounded by a sunken flower garden with a large pond at its center. It is an architectural landscape that encourages the visitor to stroll around and discover the Garden's treasures from many different vantage points.

Coming back from the EBC trek to busy Thamel was pretty mental. This was the perfect antidote- delicious chocolate brownies, beautiful scenery- a place I believe restored to its present glory by a partnership between Portugal and Nepal. Good price today, especially for groups.

This garden is an oasis in a busy city. We loved escaping here to such a beautiful and well maintained garden. There are plenty of spaces to sit and relax. We would use it as a filler to busy travel, and sit, relax, read a...More

Reasonably quiet place in this quite noisy town, it’s not so big but you can rest your tired legs for awhile before you continue your walk around town. Nice garden partly destroyed by the earthquake 2015.

The garden was close to our hotel and the images online looked great. However I've it was a little sad, the head not so green and not many flowers. Walking around took all of 5 minutes. Although the architecture is stunning and it could be...More

This place is a nice, medium sized garden with ponds that is located in Thamel. Squirrels are friendly, although there is a sign for not to feed wild animals it is obvious that people do. A nice detail is a small corridor of water falling...More
