It is a place where one gets refreshed. The place is semi-traditional and most amazingly are en suit huts. touring the park was really awesome. The park has different touring routes by vehicles or walking. There are different animals along the routes.

This is my favourite place on earth. I sat (for free) at the watering hole all day having a few cold beers and watching Elephants, Hippo, Rhino, warthog, and deer frolic and play. Take a tour to see the Lions too, but the watering hole is where all the action is!

Hlane offers something for everyone, but due to this, doesn't excellent in any particular field. Accommodation, the restaurant, the price and the game experience were all reasonable, but none were overly memorable. It was great seeing the lion enclosure but the walk was sub-par. Overall a decent experience.

Secluded chalets, the roar of Lions at night and 7 rhinos in front of your rondavel in the morning. Parrafine lamps at night. Africa at its best.

Stayed at Hlane in very cute rondavel. Food in restaurant very good. Watching the lions and lion cub at dawn was really special. The people running the game drives were not as professional as those we had come across in the Kruger but still friendly and knowledgeable about the environment.

During a one week trip to "Spectacular Swaziland" we spent a day in Hlane Big Cats and were thrilled to see a pride of Lions with cub ~ all looking beautiful, healthy, happy and wild. We also saw a wide variety of other animals ~ Giraffe, Zebra, Water Buffalo, Rhino, Kudu , Impala, etc.. Fabulous!!

We were expecting to be wowed by Hlane as it's the King Mswati's game park and the only one in Swaziland that has lions. We were very disappointed as we saw one lion, under a tree and it didn't look the healthiest. Out of all the game parks in Swaziland, which we have been to, this one has to be... More

This park is very nice, smaller compared to Kruger so you have a better chance to see animals. The guides are very knowledgeable and there aren't many tourists so you get a private tour. But Mkhaya is better because it is smaller and it is a technically a sanctuary so can get much closer to the animals :)

My wife and I had the very awesome oppertunity to have stayed at this nature reserve once. We stayed in the camp with the restaurant and the oil lamps as they don't have electricity in this camp. The hippos were about 150 meters away from us only seperated by a 4 foot high electric fence. Throughout the night we you... More
