Huge salt pan with water holes along southern edge to look for game. Multiple roads to best places to see game. Was there when very wet (as in thunderstorms all day), so lots of puddles, much greenery and tall grasses - wildlife very scattered, but still available for good viewing from the roads. (Not allowed to get out of vehicle... More

This place is amazing. I am really hoping to back again sometime. The wildlife is beautiful to see in their own environment. Can't help wondering how many animals saw me and I didn't see them!

Had a fantastic time during out 5 days traversing Etosha from West to East with some of the most fantastic game viewing, all enhanced by the experience of driving ourselves which made it so more personal. Would definitely recommend taking the time to explore the west side of the park which was different in character and noticeably quieter, we were... More

This national park seems very large. Parts of the roads have washboard and even in a 4 wheel drive vehicular you feel as though everything is being shaken to bits! Don't take a small saloon car. We saw zebra, giraffe, elephants etc but no big cats. You can go for quite long distances without seeing animals. The water holes would... More

We visited all three camps and cut the trip short as we just couldn't take it anymore. Admittedly it rained every day. The ablution block in all 3 camps are appalling the taps to the had basins are disgusting toilets dirty some broken. The shops are seriously under stocked the restaurants are fine we had two fantastic meals there when... More

I expected to see more game and that is fine , what we saw was great , the pan was brilliant but oh the service and staffing , this is definitely a government institution and the service was shocking .

The only park where you can do a self drive-a great map to follow and easy viewing of lots of animals-allow plenty of time as there is a lot to see and a large area to cover-highly recommended!!

Etosha is impressive huge. Selfdrives and organized game drives are possible. Recommend to do both because the rangers can explain a lot about the park and the animals. They also have radio contact which makes it easier to find the animals. Best time is in dry season.

I think my pictures speaks for itself. Around Andersons gate we saw most of the animals. We crossed the park - exit Galton Gate. The area around Anderson was the most interesting part of the park during our visit in February (low season). During high (dry) season you will see lots of game at the waterholes all over the park.
