This house is built using sheet metal. It is being used now, but I wonder how it was before the A/C was installed... Worth checking!

We walked past here on the way to the statue in the Square. It was designed by Eiffel of the Tower fame, but was not suitable for the heat of Maputo. Nothing amazing but you can take a photo as you pass.

Mildly Interesting House Constructed from Pre-Fabricated Iron Panels. The History of this Structure (and its supposed association with Gustav Eiffel) is More Interesting that the House Itself. The Tourist Office Inside was Closed During Our Visit on a Sunday Morning.

Interesting yet artistic and photogenic place to visit not to mentioned it' s history of being built with tin/iron more than 100 years ago by german architecture who also designed Eiffle's tower.

This fascinating building in central Maputo is well worth the visit. It is not a long visit and you will be done in about twenty minutes maximum. The building is well maintained and very accessible, but not if you are handicapped.
