Wasn’t too impressed by the city of Port Louis, but did stumble upon Le Cauden Waterfront after lunch at a nearby hotel that had a water taxi to take you there. Very pretty small mall with a few shops. It seemed to be a popular...More

We enjoyed our trip very much. I was hesitant because some reviews mentioned constructions and some dead-end roads, but I did not affect the trip and it wasn’t major. We bought some souvenirs, had lunch and enjoyed some ice cream and coffee.

From the north bus terminal to the Caudan Waterfront, what a nightmare.Road works and chaos.Could not see much.We just walked up and around and did not enjoy any shopping experience. What a disappointment as everywhere we wanted to go were blocked off.

Very Colourful, plenty of shops (some overpriced). Restaurants overlooking the Waterfront. Beware of the taxi operators (some will rip you off)

This is a must visit place if you visit Port Luis. Apart from some excellent eating options, you can indulge in some shopping, although beware of the prices. Window shopping may not be such a bad idea as the is amazing for simply taking a...More

Shops and not too expensive here but upmarket and clean area to stroll around ever if you don't want to buy anything. Eateries are fine and not too expensive as well. You can also visit near by places walking from here...
