Just a fort. We decided to go for the panoramic view and took nice pictures of both the financial and residential areas. I believe that half an hour is fine to stay.

The fort offers good views of Port Louis but buildings are otherwise empty except for a gift shop. If you have driver for the day then, I would recommend a quick stop but it wouldn't be worth a taxi fare just to get there and...More

its well maintained and offers the 360 view of the city. You can see the horse racing track. You can walk around and go to the top of the fort for the best view of the city.

Fort Adelaide is a 10 minute hike up from Port Louis and boasts great views. You can go inside the fort and also take the stairs to the roof.

For those whole places impregnated with history, this is a place to visit! Walking within the high walls of the fort, one can feel the particular atmosphere of an old barrack. Walking up the walls, the City of Port-Louis can be fully admired.
