This is a very interesting world heritage site worth a visit. It is the place the first indentured labourers from India arrived in Mauritius.

We didn't know what to expect from this World Heritage site, but we came out more knowledgeable having learnt about how the majority of people actually came to live on Mauritius. Very interesting insight for such a small site.

If you are interested in history, you can pay a visit to Aapravasi Ghat museum. This is the place where the first people from India came to work.
