Only stopped here as part of a group tour (as a bit of a bonus) but it was the most fantastic hour and a half. Wonderful to get so close to chameleon, geckos, snakes, frogs, etc, to be able to observe them in such detail and handle some of them too. Great guide.

My associate and I have been traveling far and wide and have made an amazing connection with a local man on the island that grows some of the rarest peppers on the planet. Amazing views and the culture was heart warming.

I brought a group of American students here in June 2016. We began with a hike up to the feeding are of the lemurs. The students loved holding out banana pieces for the lemurs to come down and grab from your hands to eat. We also visited the houses for chameleons, which was very impressive. Students were able to take... More

The chameleons are the stars here. They seem reasonably well kept. The people who have commented on nature of the cages need to think about what is appropriate in Madagascar, the glass and metal varieties we are used to seeing in Europe would fry animals in an open area in Madagascar. We chose not to handle any animals for their... More

We stopped at Madgascar Exotic on the way back to Antananarivo from Andasibe. I had very low expectations of it as I felt it was likely to be like a zoo, but I was pleasantly surprised at how much there was to see and thoroughly enjoyed my visit. We got to feed some beautiful Sifaka Lemurs and see them up... More

Chameleon are notoriously hard to spot in the wild, if you want an up close experience with these amazing creatures don't miss this place. It's only a tiny little place and appears a bit run down at first but.... it has a fabulous collection of these weird and wonderful creatures and they are truly spectacular. You are guided around the... More

This place has a shady history, once being the site for mass breeding and export of animals for the pet and insect trade. These days, it is a run-down shadow of it's former self, the buildings now being very very tired and in need of demolition and replacement, however... The visit to the chameleons and other reptiles was an out... More

Also known as Reserve Peyrieras, this is a great place to stop by between Tana and Andasibe as you can see all the reptiles usually so difficult to see in the wild. Best part was when the guides start feeding the chameleons with grasshoppers and you get to see them grab them with their tongues.

My Wife and I visited Madagascar in October 2015 and Exotic Park was part of our Itinerary on the way to Andasibe, when we arrived the Place looked run down and messy, the guide we had was not bad and was quite knowledgeable, we saw a large variety of Reptiles and 2 species of Lemur, what I did not like...
