It takes quite a while to reach this national park, over difficult roads and two ferry trips, but it is totally worth it! To be honest, I was really afraid of climbing the big Tsingy because I'm afraid of heights and had no experience with...More

We visited Tsingy De Bemeraha in June and this park is just incredible with its unique rock formations. You cannot find anything similar anywhere else in the world. The long trail is approximatively 3/4 hours walk and you need to be a bit athletic but...More

I loved this place. I had no idea of what to expect when I started this "easy" hike. we saw Lemurs right off the bat and then began hiking. Our guides helped us carry our backpacks and took pictures of us. I'm afraid of heights...More

Climbed to the top of the Grand Tsingy with help of excellent guide. Incredible views and fascinating geological formations. A highlight of our 2 week trip to Madagascar. Despite the time it takes to reach it, not to be missed

As far as geological formations go, this one is a stunner. The trek up and down sharp jagged rocks with some perilous drops is not for everyone though. It is quite hard work and if you're afraid of heights you may have an issue with...More

This is something amazing. View is awesome. Lemurs can also be seen. But you must understand that taking here for example from Tana will take 2 days (unless you fly). Normally it'll take you 2. Days here - Big Tsingi first day and Small Tsingi...More

It's a 5-hour adventure where you squeeze through narrow gaps (no room for even a small backpack), crawl on your hands and knees through open-ended caves, crawl & climb up, down, over, under, around and through the sharp karst pinnacles. And it is exhausting, exhilarating,...More

What a great adventure climbing ladders, traversing the pinnacles harness to a steel rope, crawling through tight gaps in the rocks. On this occasion we saw no lemurs however talking to other travellers said that they did see them later in the day. It is...More

The pictures of the stones and mountain top are magnificent, but the greatest thing is you climb up the mountain with your arms and legs almost vertically. The guide with us was very familiar with the rocks, even a couple of steps I couldn’t reach...More

You can book a group tour with a company in town of Morondava (forgot the name of tour company, it's near a beach away from downtown). There were 5 of us in a minivan. Part of the drive was over rivers where the van goes...More

That's the end of dry season so... check out other reviews. Better be vaccinated against malaria. Once you're a little bit fat - some places in Tsingi won't be reachable for you. You may take Big Tsingi in the morning and... More

Nowadays with climate change maybe early Nov but the locals told me the road becomes impassable and everyone hunkers down. I would plan something else like ile ste Marie or Andasibe as a backup plan
