Easy to access for a day trip from Conakry. Room island is wonderful to swim and relax. I would have loved to spend the night there as well.

It is only a short boat ride from Conakry. There are dense palm forests and nice sandy beaches. Friendly local people. Best time to visit from November to March (dry season).

There aren't many things to do in Conakry so visiting the islands and spending the weekends there are more fun. There are few good restaurants with good food. The beaches are more or less clean (swim on your risks).

Definitely worth checking out these islands, but only Ile de Kassa & Rhume are relatively easily accessible Ile de Tamare is less so. Both hotels have a few accommodation options, villages to visit, beautiful beaches, and interesting countryside.
