Picked up at the hotel on time. The boat has a certain charm, but the upper structure was so lopsided you could get seasick on a river. The engine was very loud and the gasoil fumes nauseating. The lunch was cooked on board, and passable, and there were some blessed moments when the engine was cut to take a swim... More

This does exactly what it says - a very lazy day on the top deck of the boat going down the river/creeks and mangroves at a leisurely pace. Tea/coffee on board then the fizzy is served. Fishing and swimming available if you so wish. Other soft drinks and beers there for you. Great to sit and/or lie on the cushions/mattresses... More

I was in the party with Edward2003 in April 2014 (see review below) and we booked again in April 2015 and enjoyed our day fishing on the creeks just as much. Friendly and helpful crew and plenty of space on the boat. Highly recommended even for those who just want to enjoy the sunshine and perhaps sunbathe on the top... More

There were just 3 couples on our boat and luckily for us had a keen twitcher onboard to show us all the locla birds to look out for. The team on the boat were lovely and accomodating. The cook was amazing. How she got the meals ready for us all in such a small space is beyond me and it... More

2nd time in Gambia and Jane's boat. Been on both the fishing day and the lazy day cruise. Both were excellent. Wish there was more chance to fish on the lazy day though. But a great day all the same

Booked a private charter for four people by email. Trip was well organised with hotel pick-up on time and boat leaving as soon as we were on board. Fishing tackle and bait provided to catch fish in river and creek. Food and drinks can be purchased on board. I would be more than happy to arrange a similar private charter... More
