A local market in downtown Banjul.it is a daily crowded noisy busy market with cramped aisles like a maze.it sells everything & anything.not for the faint hearted. The main post office is on the same street.worth a visit to see activity.

Albert Market is something to see. It is quite large and is very cramped. The aisles are extremely narrow. It is one of those market that purely shows you the way of life of the Gambian people. They sale old clothes, fish (mostly covered in...More

1. It was like any market in the world that had all the products there. The difference was that this one was truly disgusting. Fruits were rotting, there were thousands of flies everywhere. 2. The people can be pretty annoying too. They hiss at you...More

Very interesting but very smelly and a lot of flies wouldn't go there on your own as quite scary don't think I would buy food, we went more for fabrics and gifts, and only pay 1/3 what they ask for.
