It was a very long time ago kids were quite young. The place is very dry and boring. Not many animals. But I don't know about now.

It is extremely dry in the whole area and most of the animals were along the river. We saw elephants crossing the river to the plains on the inside to feed and then swim back late afternoon. It was really amazing with the little ones. Drives do not go deep into the park because it is so dry. Saw also... More

I enjoy going to this reserve as they are not so over crowded. There isn't that much wild but the monkeys always give you a laugh at the picnic areas which are kept very clean.

So close to the city centre, easy to find and access in any vehicle, so this is a good way to spend an hour or two. It's just P10 per person and per vehicle no matter what the nationality which makes a change from other parks. Nice viewing of Gemsbok and I had less than an hour to get around.... More

The Gaborone Game Reserve is unique in that it is in the suburbs of Gaborone and easily accessible. 'The Ponds' offer good opportunity for those interested in Birding to watch and photograph plenty of water-birds, including Lesser Flamingo. Ignore any unpleasant smells please... The drive around the reserve and within the Reserve will certainly offer opportunity to see Zebra, Impala,... More

Despite early closing hours- at least because there are wild animal that need peace in the evening, this is a perfect place for get togethers with several braai spot and chilling areas. During the game drive you will see several animals, Zebras and Kudus.. if lucky you can see a giraffe :) You bring you own food and drinks for... More
