We Stayed for three nights in the Camp Linyanti in Chobe NP and another two nights in the Mamili NP across the border in Namibia. Linyanti river with ist huge marshes is abundant with wildlife and a beautiful nature experience. Take a boat tour on the river if possible (we did so in Mamili NP) to get a closer view... More

We stayed at a wilderness camp in Savuti, where 20 or so elephants crossed the river in front of our cabin! We also had a resident hippo in the channel. the public campsite on the banks of Linyanti river used to be one of the top secret and iddylic places in Bottswana. since the privatisation it has turned into a crowded, noisy plce without any athmosphere at all. when we were there around May 1st, 2014 the camp was crowded with heavvy drinker without any consideration to caping neighbours.
