The rushing waters during high season are a powerful reminder of the force of nature and are a sight to behold. In high season, expect visibility in portions to be poor due to the amount of water and expect to get drenched. But there's no...More

Visitors Vic falls from the Zimbabwe side. Water levels peak during the months of April, May. However the views are spectacular. It is always advisable to hire rain coats($1-3 for rental outside of the falls entrance) if you plan to visit all view points.

The only way to feel the pure power of the Falls is to do this walk! The shear amount of water has to be seen and felt to be believed! Be warned you get very very wet! Worth the $30 entrance fee!

We flew into Livingstone airport which is in Zambia, then travelled by mini bus taxi (part of the hotel transfer) to the border crossing, definitely will need a visa for USA. The distance from Livingstone to Victoria falls I... More

Hi, we will be staying on the Zimbabwe side for two nights in April. Is it easy enough to explore the falls by yourself or is a tour recommended? We don't want to miss anything. How many hours does the average visit take? Thank you

Depending on which hotel you are in but we found it very easy to walk down and just follow the walk way around. You can spend as long as you feel you need - I think we spend about 2.5 hours then walked along the bridge... More

$30 USD for entry on the Zimbabwe side. Zaire is north of Zambia, which is the other country you are thinking of. I don't know the cost for that side. Likely similar.
