Our safari in the park was everything we expected and more. We travelled in the dry season so did not see wildebeest here, but the big cat sightings were superb - lion, leopard and cheetah, as well as so many other animal experiences.

May not be the best season to visit serengeti but I was lucky enough to see a group of somewhat 17 lions. They walk acrossed the road and one of them just 2 meters away from me. Truely breath taking experience! Still lots of mammals...More

This is truly an amazing National Park. Maybe we were lucky but we saw lions, cheetahs, giraffes and leopards multiple times at close range. (I guess the quality of your guide and vehicle have a lot to do with it)

Best national park in the world to see wildlife. It's huge but there are so many animals you will not be disappointed. Amazing to go in late August and see the Great Migration across the Mara river.

For totally six days we've visited different national parks in Tanzanzia (Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara and the whole Serengeti, from south up to the border to Kenya). We liked the Serengeti (and specially the northern parts near Mara River) best because it is more remote...More

The Seronera area of the Serengeti is incredible! On my visit I saw everything; a herd of elephants, a pride of lions, leopards, a stampede of zebras away from a hunting lion! (And so much more!) If you make a visit to the Serengeti, this...More

We were with Africa Dreams Safari. Their service was exemplary. We went in the last of March--- off season with very few tourists and excellent weather. We would do it again in a heartbeat!

I do not believe independent travel is possible. The park is very regulated and many restrictions apply: No travel between dawn & dusk is but one. I went with Africa Dream Safari and one of their guides contracted with Nat... More
