Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I did the Lemosho Route for the second time with PK Adventure.
This time we had very fine weather for the whole week. But it is recommended to have very good rain gear in stand by.
The organization and implementation of this tour by PK Adventure were excellent and absolutely professional. I felt always safe and as you can imagine security is essential at Mount Kilimanjaro.
It is a litle miracle what delicious meals are prepared for PK Adventure`s guests by the cook. We got at least one warm meal any day. Warm water, hot tea and coffee are always available and are even brought to the tent in the morning.
The guides, the cook and the porters looked after us very lovingly and caringly. There was a special summit team on the summit night and each guest had their own experienced companion. I had very many nice talks with the crew and I learned very much about the land an Tanzanian people. Of course the team of PK Adventure speaks very good English and a little German.
They are always open to concerns and have good advice on problems, e.g. for symptoms of altitude sickness. You can feel the great experience of PK Adventure. The tents were large enough and in very good condition. Of course you must have good personal equipment including a warm sleeping bag, a waterproof backpack, excellent mountaim boots and very good clothing for outdoor activity in high mountains. Don't save on your personal equipment. You will appreciate your personal equipment during this tour. Needless to say, you should have a very good camera with you. You will take spectacular photos. You will not forget the fantastic impressions and wonderful experiences of the tour throughout your life.
In conclusion I can say that I was very satisfied with this trip and with PK Adventure. So I would, actually I`m sure I WILL, do the tour to the Roof of Africa for a third time. Maybe the next time I will try out a different route, e.g. Machame Route or Northern Cicuit.
I am thankful for this great experience.

Ulomi and his brother went the extra mile to organize and plan our safari. If you need a company that is reliable and knows the local secrets, PK adventures is the company to go with.

This was our first guided tour in Tanzania and we were very pleased! Our guide Hillary was very thorough, had a deep knowledge of the flora and fauna of the region, the history, the traditions of the local Chaga people (being one himself) and he was always able to answer any question we threw at him. We walked through banana and coffee plantations, visited a secluded waterfall, visited Mama Rosa in order to taste traditional Chaga food and make our own coffee. Like from raw beans. Like from scratch! All in all it was an amazing experience, highly recommended!

We had a great day with Hilary Alfred near the Kaliwa Lodge. We got to know the Chagger tribe, about bananas and coffee making. Hilary knows a lot of interesting stories. The food at Mama Rosa and the Arabica coffee were great. Thank you.

I joined PK Adventure's Day Hiking Marangu route on Mt. Kilimanjaro, Day trip to Coffee farm and Day trip to Ngorongoro Crater. Mountain Guide Mr. Edimond is very professional and caring. He knows how to tackle the hardship at the mountain and kept encouraging me when I felt unwell uphill. After the day trip it's almost evening but Edimond even brought us to Moshi town to find sim card, which is almost impossible for tourists who don't know Swahili! It's a Sunday with most of the sim card sellers closed, Edimond tried his very best to find one for us.
On the day trip to Coffee farm and Ngorongoro Crater, Managing Director Mr. Ulomi led the way. I am especially impressed by the Ngorongoro tour. Ulomi drove us 5 hours to the Crater(started 4:30am) and 5 hours return! Ulomi knows everything about the area, landscape and wild animals. He has very good eyes to spot wild animals for us in Ngorongoro. He knows the best spot for photo-taking. He is professional, knows what the tourists need and brought us a very good time. He was even sick and didn't show a bit(we only knew the next day when we called him, he was so sick that have to stay at home).
Thank you Ulomi and Edimond for bringing us such good time and memory in Kilimanjaro!
