We went on a day trip from the Slipway to the island. You had to be careful when transferring between the boats but my wife aged 67 managed it. The food on the island was excellent. Would recommend the trip.

It's a very nice place to spend the day. You can just go there by boat, spend the day, have a nice meal in the restaurant, a really nice beach and you'll be happy with the day!

Best do it on mainland before travelling out. There is a small diving/snorkeling shack on the island but I couldn't vouch for their range or standard of equipment.
