This place is like other old medinas with half white half blue colors. at the entrance, there are some touts and scammers like other old places in Morroco...

The village houses all have blue walls at the bottom and white at the top. The shops there are somewhat different from the Medina so more interesting. The coast is within walking distance from here and well worth a walk.

A great visit here, lot of action, lots of history, lots to see and soak up. We did it as part of a guided tour and the history provided by the guide was excellent.

Nice winding blue and white coloured alleys, but as usual touts and scammers about. Less so than others but still a drag. Worth a look but be your usual polite but refusing self. A walk down near the base on the outside is good.

If you have to see one thing in Rabat this would be it, then the Necropolis of Chellah and if you are lucky His Majesty's Palace. There are many other places to visit but these in my opinion deserve particular attention.

Further down to explore Rabat, worth to spend time to walk inside the streets and you can find the good sea view at the end.

The golden tulip hotel is nearby. you could walk from there. Within 15 minutes walking distance of the Kasbah there are many hotels. There are also very fine hotels in the Medina across the street from the Kasbah. The... More
