Nicely designed and maintained gardens, similar to those of Generalife in Granada, Spain. It’s a good place to recoup from the intensity of the market atmosphere.

Jardin Majorelle has its historical significance in Marrakech; it's one landmark to experience the journey and unique taste of its past owners and snapshots of the French influence on this city. Its history, bold colour theme and architectural design made this place unique rather than...More

The Marjorelle Gardens are really an oasis for someone who wants to get away from the more densely packed tourist sites in Marrakesh. That being said, for someone coming from So. Cal., they are a pale attempt to do what the Huntington Gardens does in...More

A real oasis of calm in the busy city of Marrakech. A good 40 min well spent. Many French tourists there to see the Yves Saint Laurent memorial. It has a beautiful Berber museum and a boutique with beautiful paintings in. Worth the visit.

This is a nice little garden, visit it when you want to escape the noisy medina. Take bus 15 from Jemma El-Fna.

Beautiful garden just outside the medina. Stop for a cup of tea or espresso in the small restaurant. Do not miss the YSL museum right beside the garden.

There's no doubt that the gardens were pretty, but after queueing for half an hour, I was somewhat disappointed that the walk round the gardens took the same length of time. Quite small, with a few water features and plants. Children will be bored quickly.

These gardens are simply beautiful, very well kept and a delight to wander around and explore. If you get the chance you should spend some time here.

Went here with my boyfriend earlier this week after it was recommended by several people. We weren't overly impressed! I mean it was pretty enough but small. No impressive plants. I think the people that rave about it may be just excited about all the...More

We came earlier, as a group, and were pushed through. However, line did not look difficult. As you clearly know, most people schedule trips earlier in the day, and 4 pm sounds like a good trick. Good luck!
