This museum is hard to find (we had to stop to ask a policeman). You'll need a taxi to get there and to arrange for one to pick you up too. But it is well worth the effort. We were the only people there when we went and we wandered around the gardens as well - it has an amazing... More

We found this place from a leaflet outside a shop next to the Majorelle Gardens and we decided to visit. It's a little way outside of town but nice to go see something a bit different. The gardens are small but perfectly formed, with the cactus garden a real highlight. The art is interesting and of a good quality. But... More

This is an absolute gem. It is an Art Gallery and landscaped garden which is a haven of tranquility. It has different parts to it - an open plan gallery and then you step out into the gardens with a beautiful water feature. Sit in the shade in the gardens and just relax. Enter through a walled garden to the... More

My wife and I got married in Marrakech and were doing a post-wedding photoshoot around the city the following day. One of the stops was the Musee de la Palmeraie. We stopped at the ticket booth to pay entry for us and our two photographers. Less than a minute after we paid, the ticket salesman said to our photographers (who... More

We visited this place on the last day of our holiday and I'm really glad we did. If this place had been just the gardens or just the art it would be worth visiting but both combined makes it a must see. The gardens were beautiful, especially the cactus garden. The other garden was lush and we saw tortoises, turtles... More

There are several camel peddlers there. You can bargain for a good price...less than $10 per person is probably good. A guide will walk you through the site leading the camel by a leash. It's a little boring since there is nothing interesting to see. About 25 minutes on the camel was more than enough for us. Best just to... More

Jardin Marjorelle and Musee de la Palmeraie both have beautiful gardens. Jardin Marjorelle is just outside the Medina (very convenient); Musee dela Palmeraie is a ten minute taxi ride away. Jardin Marjorelle has a Berber museum - very interesting but we had to wait in line to get in and no photos. Musee de la Palmeraie has a wonderful collection... More

What a surprise ! La Palmeraie offers an harmonious blend of nature and culture. This liitle museum houses a good collection of modern paintings, interesting photos, nice calligraphy and sculptures. The all nestling in very fine thematic gardens : Andalusian, dry, with splendid cactus, a tipycal water garden, an orchard, a kitchen garden and a collection of roses, be aware... More

We stayed in a Hotel close to the palmerai, the day was not hot and we decided to go somewhere with the kids.
