Nice place and it is one of the enterances of the medina that you can start your visit from talaa seghira and kebira cross. Bleu from one side and green from the other. ITM machine and banks and also police office are nearby.

Some gate leading into Medina, nothing much.. get there by taxi, ask for blue gate. Cost from train station is 13mad, make sure you ask for meter to be turned on when you enter the taxis in Fes.

Gates are big and nice but nothing spectacular regarding other gates around the city. Although it is good point of reference when navigating through medina because everyone (even other tourists) know about them.

The Bab Boujloud is the Blue Gate that leads to the old Medina. Inside the gate lots of restaurants that tend to be cheaper than other parts of the Medina. And of the course the start of lots of shops etc.

For us this was the main point for going to the Medina, and finding our way back home. There are also most of the restaurants near it.
