Good fun, organisation shambolic at times but essentially worked - not worth buying most expensive seats (they are all uncomfortable) so worth while bringing your own cushion - not much english translation so brush up your french - worth doing some homework as some of...More

We came for all 10 days of the Festival on some friends' recommendation and had been very attracted to visit Morocco. We bought the full pass to all the events. The true highlights were few, though extraordinary. The opening event, Conference des Oiseaux, at the...More

Its great to visit Fez at the time of the festival. There is wonderful electricity in the air, and it adds another dimension to the medina experience.

We didn't book our trip with festival in mind, but the dates overlapped. People and performers from all over the world. Many venues to visit. The week after festival the lycee Francais has free concerts all over city and we were delighted to attend.

We attended four concerts and thoroughly enjoyed them. The atmosphere in the slightly cooler evenings added to the romantic feel of the concerts. People attending were happy and all in all we had a memorable week!

I had the chance to be at the opening of the Festival this year and I can tell you that it's really magical. The music, the dance, the sets and the atmosphere take you to another world!

This was my second visit to the Festival and I thought the music this year was exceptionally well chosen. Although I did not like some of the more jazzy collaborations, it was wonderful to find so many styles and approaches in one week, from the...More

Morocco prides itself for its openness to all spiritual paths and the sacred music festival is just that. It is less a performance and more a sharing of what nourishes the soul in diverse cultures. Sit out under a blanket of stars, night after night,...More
