I like non-typical attractions. I like contemporary architecture. I loved stained glass windows in the Notre Dame de Lourdes. But unfortunately, this is the only thing I loved about it. Modern approach to a traditional problem just did not work out in this very case.

Notre Dame de Lourdes is a Catholic cathedral in Casablanca. It is a large church, striking, with beautiful stained glass windows alone each side. The stained glass windows are beautiful and well worth the visit. It does not require a great deal of time.

Casablanca cathedral : Eglise Sacré-Cœur de Casablanca, church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, is a former Roman Catholic church located in Casablanca, Morocco. It was built in 1930. It ceased its religious function in 1956, after the independence of Morocco, and became a cultural centre which is open to visitors. The church was designed by French architect Paul Tournon,... I visited on a Saturday afternoon, and there was a small class or meeting being held in part of the church. The stained glass is very contemporary and very moving. It encompasses the entire side walls of the structure. Otherwise, the church is rather simple. Allow only about 15 minutes. No admission charge, but donations are welcome.

Notre Dame de Lourdes is a Catholic Church in Casablanca, it's a nice sized church, on the minimise side, beautiful stain glass windows, but in comparison UK and Spain and Italian churches not anywhere near as good. It shows a very tolerant attitude towards Christians within the city that is very peaceful and very poor

Really dramatic church. Inside, the walls are stained glass wonders that are really worth seeing and so unexpected. Incredibly tall roof.

We paid a quick visit to the cathedral which is uninspiring from the outside but spectacular inside due to the stained glass and the light that illuminates them from behind. Free entry, so pass a few minutes wandering round away from the hustle bustle and heat outside.

Worth a stop just for the amazing stain glass windows. Absolutely spectacular. Little cave where can light a candle. Hidden gem in Casablanca
