We visited the market as part of a guided tour of the city. It provides a fantastic insight into the culture of the city. You can see a huge array of local fruit, veg & fish here. If you are a cat lover, you won't be disappointed here either!

I have come her in the afternoon like around 4pm. And the small food stalls were packed with locals eating lunch. I sat down and ordered a mixed fish plate. It tasted great, sun was shining on me, and felt like local. I have paid 100 for a full lunch.

We only had 1 day in Casablanca & this was our first stop as our hotel was only around the corner. The stalls were only just setting up so unfortunately we didn't get to experience the lunch time hustle that many reviewers have written about - our loss. The old medina is only about a 15 minute walk away so... More

Easy acces by Tram, it's an old traditional market place, where you can eat fresh fish and make shopping. But only during the day

Very convenient to reach with the Casa Tram but it is open only during daytime. I tried to visit twice, both after 6PM, the gates close down much before and the shopkeepers start to clean up.

A true taste of local Morocco. This old part of downtown Casablanca is colorful and full of life. If you are a keen seafood enthusiast then go there and sift through the fish and seafood on display then take whatever you bought to galley of restaurants in the same place and have them cook it the way you like.
