The is a great park right in front of Chinaman’s hat. You can pull over for some great pictures and enjoy a picnic lunch while you look around. The mountains behind you provide more gorgeous views.

Our private tour guide brought us to this area and told us some detailed info about Chinaman's Hat and this area. Mokolii Island is known among locals as Chinaman’s Hat because of its shape. The small island is located at the north end of Kaneohe...More

If you have the time, hire a canoe and paddle around the island. Otherwise a quick play on the beach and some photos with the hat in the background.

Not a lot to do, but look at it, but you should stop and take some pictures. We enjoyed the few minutes that we stayed there and we took some great pics.

A neat ocean view. I would like to kayak out there next visit, or walk out at low tide. Easy parking and picnicking at the nearby park.

At low tide can actually walk across form the beach to the island. The climb to the peak is quite steep but short, should make sure to bring some kind of foot ware. Great view from the top.

Funny little island off the shore! A nice spot for a photo op and more scenic views while traveling around Oahu. There is a beach and also a large grassy area with picnic tables. Would make for a nice lunch spot.
