We were lucky enough to be here on two Fridays, the day we arrived and the day before we left. Sitting by the lagoon at the Hilton while the gentle breeze plays, and the the fireworks bookended a lovely family holiday to celebrate a significant birthday

I am a huge fan of fireworks; therefore, I was ecstatic when my husband read about the fireworks on trip advisor. The Hilton, the hotel that puts on the display weekly (Friday nights at 7:45 pm to be exact) was right next door to the Hale Koa where we were actually registered…yay!!! So we did not have to do anything... More

Free fireworks on Waikiki beach; You just can't fault it. Get there early to watch the sunset and get a seat as the beach is swarmed. It starts about 19:30 / 19:45 and is just such a lovely thing to do. The atmosphere is just wonderful and everyone is just happy to be there. Its Hawaii personified! We got a... More

Show is short compared to a 4th of July show, lasts about 5 mins, but is like the grand finale the entire show. Worth seeing!

Free fireworks on a beautiful beach every Friday evening, no brainer. Sat on low stone wall leading out into water. Great spot as you can see fireworks and launching near lagoon. No sand between your toes. Starts exactly at 7:45 and lasts about 6 minutes.

It was a very good array of fireworks from my view in the rainbow tower. I just thought it would more than three minutes.

It doesn't last long but it's worth waiting for. We sat at the Hau Tree Bar and drank. It was better than sitting on the beach.

Worth it to watch them live from the beach area. Expect to be with lots of people who will be there. Get there early to claim your spot, unless your lucky enough to be in a room facing the fireworks from your room from the Hilton hotel Rainbow Tower.

The fireworks start between 7:30 & 7:45 p.m. every Friday night, though that is a little dependent on the sunset. They last about 10 minutes but anyone who is near the Hawaiian Village stops and watches. They conclude with a great barrage. Find a place to hang out along Waikiki Beach on either side of the Hawaiian Village, as they... More

Can see the fireworks from Waikiki beach and hotels, if in the right spot. Check with your hotel. You can walk along the road or beach from Waikiki to the Hilton Hawaiian Village. On the beachfront the Fort DeRussy boardwalk starts at the Waikiki Shore condominiums to the Hilton Hawaiian village if you prefer not to walk in the sand... More
