If you are looking for shopping, look no further than Kalakaua Ave. There is no limit to high end fashion, jewelry and other stores, i.e. Cartier, Coach, Gucci - name the store and you will probably find it. However, this is not necessarily the place for sales. There are also loads of restaurants ranging from relatively inexpensive to high quality... More

We enjoyed strolling along this street which has many high end shops and attracts many tourists from around the world. Very nice, but I wouldn't spend more than an hour here unless you plan on going shopping.

We love walking down here. It has Macy's, Sephora, Urban outfitters, H and M, forever 21, small little shops as well as big tickets names like Coach,Prada ,Cartier just to name a few. The eateries we love along here are Cheesecake Factory and Buho Cucina Mexican food rooftop restaurant and bar. These are just some of the great places for... More

The heart of Waikiki. A great walk from the Convention Center, pass historic Fort Derussy (Army), famous historic hotels, go by the beaches, the zoo, all the way to Kapiolani Park. Perhaps, it is a 3-hour walk. Longer if you stop at various places. A street full of shopping for local stuffs as well as designer items visitors like to... More

What a great shopping strip; all the luxury brands all in one place! There are plenty of places to eat, from cafes to restaurants to cheap food to shaved ice to dessert, there's everything here! It's gorgeous at night, with all the sparkling lights and fire torches lining the streets. Busy, but definitely a must-do when in Waikiki. You can't... More

We stayed at a hotel on this street. This is like staying on the Las Vegas strip without the casinos. Always super busy, vendors trying to pass out fliers for their businesses and more ABC stores than you can imagine. If you are into shopping this will be a mecca for you as all of the big brands have stores... More

Starting from the Zoo end of the street we often strolled up and down at night looking for eats along the way. This avenue is extremely clean! It's vibrant and busy with tourists walking forwards but their heads are in the direction of the shops haha

This is a shoppers paradise, a place to walk, look at the stores (window shop), walk along Waikiki beach. At the far end ate the Zoo and Aquarium.

I travel to Honolulu every couple of years. Kalakaua Avenue is very nicely landscaped and has been cleaned up a lot. So sorry to see what has been done to the International Marketplace...now it's just another expensive mall. The charm of it were all the booths with the crafts people...where are they now? This was disturbing to us.

Thank Darlene N
