My friends rented a condo at Honokeana Cove. We were lucky to join them every day for a snorkel with the turtles. Really the best experience I have had anywhere.

Accessibility is the main concern. Did not try the pathway. Entry to the bay is easier if you are staying at the 2 resorts at the bay. NAPILI POINT and HONOKEANA COVE both which are older and more quiet resorts/facilities but are reasonably priced. We...More

This cove is a bit tricky to get to, but worth the effort. This bay has numerous Sea turtles and abundant coral and other reef fish. Bring your own snorkel gear and swim at your own pace. Not crowded. Beautiful view.

We visited this beach everyday for a week and we saw turtles everyday. They are on the rocks right in front of the lifeguards. Amazing to watch from the side or grab a snorkel and jump in with them.

If you can get to it! Stay at the Napili point resort and it will be out your front door. Turtles and octopus and all kinds of fun. Best place to snorkel besides Honolula bay.

We plan our day around Napili Bay to include the Gazebo, Napili Beach body surfing and snorkeling with Volkswagon, the large turtle near the underwater rock in Honokeana Bay. The entrance and exit can be tricky, agreed, but the honus make it worth it! Since...More

If you want to see turtles, this is your place! We stayed in a condo there, so the entry was easy, but I believe it's worth the effort required for the excellent snorkeling.

Best snorkeling I have found on Maui! Saw 30+ in one hour. Hard to find, and not advertised - for a reason. The entry is difficult, both parking, hiking and swimming. Advanced snorkelers! Not really any public access. We parked on the street by Napili...More
