We went to Both Honolua Bay and Molokini actually with Pacific Whale Foundation. Both are good, but in Honolua Bay you get see more fishes, sea turtles even one Mantra Ray and water is warmer compare to Molokini.

Both are good options and while it’s true that Molokini is more popular and therefore usually more crowded, July is the slow season in Hawaii so either one you choose will be worthwhile and should yield great opportunities... More
Both are good options and while it’s true that Molokini is more popular and therefore usually more crowded, July is the slow season in Hawaii so either one you choose will be worthwhile and should yield great opportunities to see many tropical fish and other sea creatures, coral etc and maybe a sea turtle or two if you’re lucky!!
