Absolutely gorgeous however the day we went the surf was pretty strong so we didn't let our 8 year olds snorkel or even swim in the ocean. My husband, myself and my dad went out but visibility wasn't all that great. I highly recommend walking...More

Postcard perfect beach, no bikes allowed (trying to keep less objects, don't know??), good snorkeling when the ocean is calm, even if you don't want to go in the water you can just relax under the trees, enjoy picnic lunch, listen to the wind, surf,...More

Since I get over to Lanai several times a year, one thing I've enjoyed doing is biking down from town, and going for a swim. Over the past 25 years I have camped, biked, visited, and held family gatherings here but not this summer. I...More

We went over to Lanai by boat for some snorkeling and beach time and we were not disappointed. This beach is amazing. You have to go a bit offshore when snorkeling to get to crystal clear water but once there the fish are plentiful and...More

Wife and spent a good part of the day here just vegging. No snorkeling, no swimming, no nothing. Just sitting and reading. What a wonderfully picturesque place to just sit and do nothing. Highly Recommended.

Great beach, good snorkeling. Had a very nice time here. I was able to see a lot of fish and some good amounts of coral. I even saw a small white tip reef shark chilling on the bottom out by the end of the point.

We went here upon recommendations saying this was a great snorkel spot. It was average at best. If you do snorkel, you have to go out fairly far due to visibility issues. Also, there are no showers (we read otherwise) other than the rinsing outdoor...More

This is a great area to enjoy a day away from Maui. We took the ferry ride over to explore the island for $60 return. They have a washroom facility, picnic tables and plenty of areas to get shade from the unforgiving sun. Normally this...More

There's a market in Lanai City (Richard's Market). (808) 565-3781. You can call them and ask if they have charcoal briquettes. The bigger issue is how you're going to get to Lanai City to buy them.

Super easy! Get off the ferry, look to your left and you will see a little sign that points to the right and says "Beach". Follow that sign and when the road forks, keep to the left. That will take you to Hulopoe Beach... More
