This is a nice park that as very small waves that good for snorkeling and swimming. There was a guy who was kite surfing because the was a nice wind. Nice place to go to relax for an hour of so.

We have loved this gorgeous beach since our first visit to Kauai and always return. The area is fairly calm because it’s protected by a reef. It also made a great backdrop for our wedding!

We drove past the parking lot at Anini Beach. We parked in front of the houses before the road ends to a dirt path. Snorkeling was really great! We snorkeled by the rocks that were used to break the waves. Saw several colorful fish! (Without...More

Stay to the right of the boat ramp. That’s the best snorkeling. Water is calm and stays shallow even hundreds of feet out. Stay in line with the orange buoy, and about halfway out, you will see the two honus (sea turtles) that live there....More

This is a very rough Beach but there is a section that should be land that gets fed by the large waves creating a lake that is calm, starts shallow and gets fairly deep. It is an okay Beach but no accommodations.

We have snorkeled here many times in the past and the snorkeling was great. This year we hardly saw any fish. We did see two turtles which was awesome. The visibility was not good. We had much better snorkeling at Poipu Beach Park early in...More

An unassuming lovely beach and beach park that is relatively quiet and adequately set up with basic facilities to support a great day out to the beach! In general all the Kauai beaches are beautiful, it just depends what you are looking for on what...More

Great atmosphere, large beach suitable for children. At the beginning the reef doesn't seem much interesting, but you just have ti muove to the central area (starting from in front of the parking) ti the left. There are a sort of pools, little lagoons in...More

Enjoyed a day at Anini beach in June 2018. You can stand up in the reef even close to 200 feet offshore since the water is deep enough. The only problem was coming back where the water becomes shallow and sometimes navigating into deeper waters...More

We went early in the morning and parking wasn't an issue. It did fill up fast as the day went on. There was more parking than at some of the beaches in the area.

Poipou beach park and Anini were our favorites when we went a month ago. Many others were still closed, but may be open now.

I was just at Anini May6th/7th. It didn’t appear to have any damage at all. We camped about 15 feet from the ocean. The water was clear so it should be nice for your trip!
