Just 2 miles up highway 580 (which is a good road) is the view of the falls and the Wailua River. Just before the falls is a small Heiau with more views of the river, worth a quick stop on the way up or the...More

These falls were featured in the move Blue Hawaii. They are easily accessible from the road - just park, cross the street and take your pictures. Combined it with a stop a Wailua Falls which is only a few miles away. Nice day trip.

Our 4th visit to see the falls and they are just as beautiful as ever. Although they are far away, it is easy to get to with plenty of parking and a rest area! A good zoom camera would come in handy here. An added...More

It is a quick trip up into the hills above Wailua and right off the Kuamoo Road. The falls and surroundings are a lovely sight. Go to the west end of the vista and cross the road for a beautiful view of the Wailua River...More

If you are going to falls to get a good picture too, note that most of the photos were taken with a zoom lens. The viewing spot is right off the road, behind a low fence.

This was an easy stop and no hiking. You can cross the road and see a pretty valley and Hawaiian village & river also.

If you're around, check out this waterfall just for the view. Not a whole lot to do other than that, so take a few awesome pictures and you'll be satisfied!

Even though we can't get close to these Falls, the scene is gorgeous. Mountains in the background, birds flying down in the valley by the falls. It's a quick, easy stop.

This was part of our shore excursion as we traveled around by bus. We had brief stop here for a photo op. Very easy to get to. Just a few steps from the parking lot. Scenery is great here. There was more across the street...More
