Nice, easy hike.

This was a very pleasant hike to two beautiful waterfalls. It was the perfect way to start our Kauai vacation.

The most difficult part of this hidden jem is finding the entrance to the trail head. We followed the advice of another reviewer and had no difficulty despite the heavy downpour of rain on our chosen hike day. Parking area was easy to find to the left side of the street driving in, and the trail entrance is an opening... More

I highly recommend this light hike for anyone that is looking for a easy trail(except if it has recently rained) stunning scenery and a refreshing waterfall. We actually took a wrong turn and discovered this waterfall on our GPS. It is not marked and posted private property. Please read the other reviews that have great directions. Please respect the local... More

You always get near a waterfall but this is a beautiful falls you can be right on top. It is a little tricky to find but worth the effort. We saw kids jumping into the falls from above. Crazy!

Ho'opi'i Falls has become increasingly popular over the years and for good reason...who doesn't want to jump off a waterfall in Hawaii?! It is pretty easy to find, the hike is lovely and not difficult, and the reward is awesome. It is important to note that there is no longer access to the second falls that other reviewers are mentioning.... More

The trail starts off a residential street. I suggest downloading the AllTrails app to get directions to the trail and a useful map of the trail itself. The trail starts with a breathtaking view of a farm with mountains in the background. It will make you envious that you do not live there. The first waterfall is about a 15... More

This hike starts not too far from Kapaa. As you go down the street with the trail head look for the last house on the left - right after the last house on the left and before the long row of trees is where the trail begins. It is an easy hike - very family friendly. You walk down to... More

We had a hard time finding the start of the hike, but if you are on the road- it's the little opening after the last house on the left- right before the long row of trees. And we didn't see a gate or anything- just asked a local. When you get to the bottom of the first hill- head to... More

This was a great hike for all abilities! The scenery was lush. The start of the hike was a challenge to find look for the cars parked on the side of the street.

Not a lot of people know this trail. We just learned about this through a local's recommendation. You can drive to the general vicinity via navigational system. However, there really is no sign that points to where the path/trail is. You just have to look for parked cars and from there scout the area for a trail. It is easy... More
