The Morris Museum is located no the second floor of an office building on the Riverwalk and across from the Marriott Hotel. It is a small museum but presents a variety of art from more traditional portraits to contemporary to glass. The entrance fee is only $5 (senior citizens $3). The staff is extremely nice and made for a nice... More

This museum is a decent sized museum for the size of Augusta. It has some mainstay pieces which I enjoy every time I go, but some pieces that rotate. When we first moved here we did one of the kid activities in the morning, and that was nice. Ultimately, I always find peace and enjoyment from visiting. Especially on Sundays... More

The security follows you around the entire place. It's highly annoying, creepy. Just awkward. Seriously what is old dude with the flash- light going to do if I started running? Is he gona waddle over to his scooter and try to chase me?

My husband and I had plans that were spoiled so we decided to come here for a visit. It's an affordable place to go. We loved seeing all the art and it was a nice stop to get away from all the hustle and bustle. Oh yes it's free on Sundays.

I love to stroll around this museum on Sundays with my guy. It's a nice place to go where it's quiet. Much of the art is outstanding! Nice little gift shop, too.

This is one of those places that I always makes me feel better. I've been going here since I was a little girl. Its paintings still have a mesmerizing impact.

We try to go to museums whenever we travel and this is now near the top of our list...not because it has masterpieces, but because the way that it was laid out, made it perfect viewing of all of artwork...Southern artists, civil war depictions, modern art, a few sculptures and a perfect museum gift shop with prices that you will... We thoroughly enjoyed this museum. We just happened on it when visiting the Riverwalk. Lovely paintings that told many stories in the history of the south and our country (USA). It was really worth the visit and a good way to spend a couple hours while in Augusta.

Like another reviewer, we were here during Hurricane Matthew. We were surprised to find some extraordinary pieces in a collection that is not overwhelming in size. It's definitely worth a visit if you are in Augusta.

It was surprisingly nice. A decent variety of art collections. It is conveniently located next to the river walk.
