We spent the afternoon hiking the trails. Regretted not getting the park map after looking right at it. Grab yourself one before heading out. The trails are best done by bike.

Such as beautiful place. Loved the trails through the swamp, up over boardwalks and passing beautiful mossy trees. Lots of people birdwatching and this place has the feel of a hidden gem. Worth a visit!

Amazing diverse biome where you wouldn't expect it. Leave the city and there it is! Hiking, birding, picnicking, playing, and best of all learning! Love, love, love this place!

Lots of wetlands and open water for ducks, Soras, Rails, Bitterns and many other species of songbirds. Abundance depends on times of year and weather. Boardwalks, woodland trails and open trails that go for several miles. We visit the park mainly during fall, winter and...More
